When we were planning to do these portraits, there were two themes that we were looking to accomplish. Both cute birthday photos while accomplishing gorgeously evil pictures as well. Photos that accomplish the vibe of growing up another year.
It was pretty simple. We used a white backdrop in my in-home studio and a projector to capture the memories of her kid photos. There is something so magical about taking photos with your younger self in such an authentic format. It also proves that taking photos is really the closest we have ever been to time travel as we reflect on younger versions of ourselves.
This photoshoot was really fun to do because I have not been able to use my projector for photos as much as I could. It's a fun and creative way to add more personality to a simple white backdrop.
