The holiday minis were a success! And I was so happy to have been able to take these portraits for this sweet family.
Once they had arrived, we got straight to photo shooting. But to our surprise, a cat had decided it wanted to be included. This cat was so so sweet and Vincent, the little boy, immediately was drawn to it. Now this is great and all, but not when you need the attention on you for portraits. So, what did I do? I told my fiancé, who was my assistant of the day, to pick the cat up and hold it near the camera in order to get Vincent to look my way. And it worked!
This cat was so so friendly for letting us pick it up and use it as a prop. And honestly, I don’t think the cat had minded because my fiancé had told me that when he was holding the cat, it purred as he nuzzled the bottom of its chin. My fiancé and this cat had gotten so along that my fiancé wanted to bring the cat home. We already have two cats, but my fiancé was convinced that this cat HAD to be with us. Eventually, that cat got tired of being held and whined in my fiancé's arms. So we decided to leave the independent cat to what they were doing.
This photoshoot was so nice though, and I am so happy with how these sneak peeks turned out! It was very nice to meet the Ng family!
