Okay, so when I was reached out to take these portraits, I was really excited. Not only do I know the Braun's, but I would consider them family at this point. So when they told me about their plan to surprise their parents with some awkward JCPenny type portraits, I was more than happy to be a part of it.
Though it may have been last minute, it was good vibes all around. We got some awesome portraits and had a good time in the process!
But honestly, what better Christmas gift than a photoshoot with you and your siblings? Especially when it's been a long time since you have all been in one place. There's nothing like trying to scramble together and awkwardly cuddle for extended periods of time for the perfect shot! (I mean... it is meant to be an awkward photoshoot after all..) Hopefully, I captured the essence of that awkward JCPenny type of photoshoot.
But Mr. & Mrs. Braun, I hope that you love these nearly as much as I do. It's been an absolute joy to get to be a part of this photoshoot and also feel like a part of your family <3
