First photoshoot as Chloe Conlin Photography! I have been so excited about this photoshoot since we started planning it!! Annabel reached out to me and immediately knew which location she wanted and I was like yes! She wanted to do photos in downtown Houston with the skyline. If I’m honest, this has been something I’ve had on my bucket list. As someone who grew up in Houston and around the area. H-town holds a special place in my heart. The big buildings, the culture, the diversity. I’m in love with it all!
Now, the day of the photoshoot was a bit of a doozy at first... Me and my amazing assistant (my husband) wet off to find a spot to park near this park. Little did we know, the beautiful weather and beautiful view of a park would be absolutely crowded. Houston, am I right? Luckily, we showed up a little early, so we drove around the whole park and ended up finding a close enough spot to park. We immediately set out for a perfect place to get the Houston skyline that was not too busy in foot traffic and had good lighting. We found our spot! It was perfect! Now, to let the Bias family know where to go! I sent them my location, and they begin to walk my way. I get a call and Annabel says she cant see me... Oh crap. She sends me her location and I realize she is on the OTHER side. I don't know why my phone would send her my location like this. I felt cursed! But I sent it again, and suddenly she was able to find me, so it worked out in the end! I hope that the hike in the heels was worth it cause I really do think these portraits turned out absolutely amazing!
I have been enjoying editing these so much. Reliving the cute little moments with this happy family! Even with the inconvenience of finding the spot, they laughed, smiled and danced around with me. I couldn't be more happy!
