We were pulling our cart full of water, towels, camera gear, and snacks up to the beach. We found a nice spot where there weren’t many people and decided that we were calling it home base. One flaw, I looked around and noticed that all the other people at the beach had a gazebo to be able to hide from the sun. We did not have one. At first, we were thinking it wouldn’t be a big deal, so we decided to start taking portraits!
Once we were finished taking photos, we all hung out together in the waves. It was really nice just relaxing and feeling the sand on our toes. The heat warming up our faces… until we noticed that we were starting to turn pink. Next thing we knew, we had been out there for FIVE HOURS. With no shade and a very bad sunscreen job.
Next time I do these beach minis, a gazebo will be provided alongside my changing tent (my changing tent being what we used to change into our swimsuits after the photos). But at the end of the day, we had a really fun time, and I am really happy with how the portraits turned out!
Thank you to everyone who came and hung out with us at the beach <3
