I loved getting the opportunity to take these portraits for Shelby and Peyton. The weather was absolutely amazing for a photo shoot, not too cool or warm. On top of that, we had chosen a location that did not have a lot of foot traffic for it being homecoming night, so it was quite perfect.
I hope that these two had an amazing night dancing around at homecoming together! I know I had a great time getting to know them and taking their portraits. I learned that Peyton does not like glitter. I learned this because Shelby’s dress was very much covered in glitter. We joked that by the end of the night, Peyton’s suit was going to be just as sparkly as Shelby’s dress. I like to imagine that Peyton will probably find glitter on himself in the next week but, i’d say it was worth it. Shelby’s dress was absolutely gorgeous. And, on top of that, she had beautiful blue nails to match. She usually is unable to have long nails because of her being in orchestra and swim. So it was really special that she got to really dress up for homecoming night.
