I don’t think this photoshoot had one dull moment. From watching people accidentally fish up turtles and watching them release them. Watching people do donuts in the KHS parking lot and then they would just casually drive away. And it helps that I know Markus through my brother, Austin. When my brother was as little as five years old, Markus and he played football together in a little league, I was of course on the sidelines with my seven-year-old self doing whatever I was doing mingling on the playground with fellow little ones. But I vividly remember being at Austin’s football games and watching the dads of these little league football players yelling at their kids to run faster and get their form right. The football was bigger than these little guys' heads, and all the lil football players cared about in that moment was catching and throwing the ball without falling over just because of the sheer weight of the football compared to their little bodies.
It was really sweet reminiscing on old times because Markus was one of those lil 5 year olds as well once, and now being able to take his senior photos pulled at my heartstrings. Seeing how much Markus, Austin and me have all grown since then… We’re all adults now, moving into our next stages of life.
Markus is going to go to Texas State University once he graduates. He is going to do awesome things with his mathematical skills. That, plus his incredibly charming and bright personality, will take him to amazing places in the future. Congratulations Markus on graduating!! I hope you enjoy these sneak peeks as I finish up your full gallery of photos!!
