GUYS! Look at my beautiful cousin and her boyfriend!! These guys were such a joy to work with and it was really nice getting to catch up with Jasmine a little. These two were giddy and joyful the whole way through these photos and im in love with how the photos turned out because of it.
I had never taken photos in Louisiana before so I let Jasmine choose the location since she's the one near home. I put full trust that she would choose a cool location and I was so right to do so because this location was gorgeous. Me and my mom showed up to the location quite early and saw that there were already other people taking prom photos around. At first, I wasn't sure what was so great about the location. But then as me and my mom started to scout the location, we realised how much there was to do for pictures. There was beautiful architecture and this building that had a whole lot of marble steps that were so nice to use for portraits. The marble stairs were definitely the most popular spot when people really started to show up for pictures.
Once we had used up the location of all of its pretty spots, we still had time before their dinner reservation. They decided they wanted to take photos by a place called the waterwall. It was so beautiful and it was right off of the water. The ocean made Jasmines dress POP so I got excited.
And then we decided to go to a kids playground. When I tell you these kids were either in awe of Jasmine's dress or were like "what the heck is she doing here dressed like that?", lol. It was iconic cause there were so many kids at this playground but Jasmine & Nick didn't mind it one bit. They actually climbed up the playground a little to get some titanic posed pictures on this play ship. Not many people can say they've done that, and I love that for them.
Jasmine & Nick were such a fun and adventures couple when it came to these portraits. Because of that, I had so much fun. Thank you Jasmine & Nick for having me to take these for you! I can't wait to get the rest of the portraits out to you :)
