Sooo I have been looking forward to this photoshoot for quite a while and for good reason. Bella & Tony, if you haven't seen them before, have had me photograph their one year, two year & now their third year anniversary! It is has been such an honor to get to see them every year & capture magic.
What I love about it too is that they have switched up the theme every year so far (whether intentional or not) but I love it cause it has kept it fresh and interesting! The first year was more of an urban, cool vibe. The second I would describe as more of a cottage-core, picnic and this year they decided on a classy, old money vintage look. Which I was SO excited about because I haven't had the opportunity to take pictures like this before.
And so a joy of a session it was! Besides the hard parking since we were in downtown Houston during prime golden hour, the session was gorgeous. Warm and sunny with a gorgeous sky! I have always strived for a more cinematic look and I really do feel that these capture that energy. Like your seeing them through a movie screen; a classy rom-com.
We hadn't talked props in detail but there was a moment where Bella brought out a bouquet of red roses and instantly knew we were on the same page. And the sunglasses were just an amazing touch to these. The props were perfect for that classy, old money look.
